Sam Peffer ...... Artist
A north London lad all his life Sam studied art at the Hornsey School of Art, spent the war years in the merchant marines and always loved boxing. Sam still skips rope to this day.
Sam worked as a freelance Illustrator for many years and is known for his work at Pan Books that started in the mid 50’s.
Sam retained the rights to all his work which he always signed with his PEFF signature, a nick name he picked up while serving in the navy.
In later years his work included film posters and box covers.
He still paints and sketches for his own enjoyment.
